Right now I'm thinking up a new sf plot like MASTERS OF THE METROPOLIS. I think a webmaster can consider himself to have scored, and to be continuing to score, by all the power he has at his fingertips to deal with incoming, say, postings and chat. A webmaster is an admirable thing to be, and a very modern position to have, too! A lot of it's the computer, but some of it's him and he's a right-on-top modern man. :)
