Dear sweet Pellinor readers - I know I'm being a nag, but can we make plaintive calls in the empty silence on the chattery thread? :p Then we can use these threads to be more or less on topic.

All right, I'm taking off my organising hat. :D

hi alison,
I was just wondering ,how do you manage to keep track of all the characters you create?

Hi Yodee - I do keep lists, so I get the spelling of their names right - nothing worse than misspelling your own names! But mostly I remember them, because when a character pops up, even a really minor one like Lyla, the girl Maerad befriends briefly in Ossin, they seem pretty real to me. And I do an awful lot of cross-checking. The cast of characters is getting intimidatingly large now...

You should put the list of characters onto your website, Alison. With some of the characters' details or profile. Just a suggestion ... :)
