Pellinor: General Discussion

Yup yup :D ... But what i still don't understand is when he said Maerad reminded him of Queen Ardina and after Maerad thought it was "someone else, perhaps" I wonder who it was? maybe it was Nerili?
I always thought he meant Ceredin.
with all the love and grief in her heart and nearly died... does that mean when she actually does sing the treesong with all the love in her heart, etc she is going to die... ...that is not allowed to happen...that's just not fair... when Maerad was playing the pipes after Cadvan 'died', i think she was putting all her soul into her playing or something, i'm not thinking straight this afternoon, plus i'm in the library and am afraid the librarian will kill me if she finds me here. Soooo maybe she will have to put her life force, as well as her love into the playing of the treesong. Ardina also says she's never heard anyone play so reclessly since Afinil, (and wasn't that where the Treesing was last heard of?), so it makes sense to say that she would have to put her life force into the Treesong playing, right?

wow that sounds like some storm! nah, i just sang it a lullaby... :D

Cadvan was a bit 'cruel' as you put it :D, and i though Maerad was a bit sulky herself but i though it was understandable considering the situation they were in, ie not knowing what to do next, not having an actual goal, being hunted by the dark and all, can be very taxing :D

HA, sorry i thought he had white hair, just proves my memory is shot thanks to QCS :D

Well what has everyone got agains Saliman?!
hmm cadvan was just harsh to Maerad because she deserved it... she seemed pretty unbearable but at least she didn't turn him into a rabbit!!

What's everyone got against Maerad? She wasn't sulky at all she accidently killed someone she probably felt alone and wanted to be reassured and all Cadvan was doing was ignoring her! I thought Maerad handled herself really well, if i was her i would have taken the food supplies and run off leaving Cadvan behind!

Definately Maerad was being sulky!! And don't forget, didn't Cadvan try to make up with her after the killing of that bard but she just pushed him away and said really horrible things to him when all he was trying to do was help her?!

Yeah, I agree. When she was being tetchy to Cadvan I didn't like her that much, but that's because I think Cadvan's a tortured soul who needs lots of love ;) . Still, that's teenage girls for you, I suppose. :D
