Alison, you may want to get the virtual frying pan out because I may irritate you with some nit-picky questions.

Non-nit-picky questions first:

1) Why is Innail School under the jurisdiction of Norloch if its inhabitants regard themselves as somewhat separate from Annar? Did the Bards choose this for political reasons or some other reason?

2) If M & C hadn't escaped after M killed Ilar what punishments might they have faced? Exile, wergild, other reparation...?

3)As H now has part 2 of the Treesong, will M, H, C, & S need to go to Den Raven/Dagra? Or is it theoretically possible for them to restore the Treesong anywhere in Edil-Amarandh? If you can't answer this, due either to giving away too much information or (shock, horror) because you don't know, then oh well

Now for some nit-picking.

4)In the Riddle Cadvan mentions 'Il Arundeh', yet on the map it is 'Il Arunedh'. Likewise, Saliman mentions 'Eledh', whilst on the map I think it says 'Iledh'. Which of the above names are correct. BTW, this is from the UK editions.

5)In the Crow, Saliman buries Zelika's body, yet earlier in this thread you said The Bards cremate their dead. If you remember, in The Riddle Gahal's daughter Lyla mentions that Dernhil's ashes are at his birth school, Gent.. Is there a reason for why Saliman buries Zelika - cremation not feasible/safe or differing customs?

I know I'm only supposed to ask 5 questions, but could you stretch it to a 6th, as this one isn't Pellinor-related? Just this once? Please?

6)You wrote once, in answer to one of my questions Big elephant stamp, and do you want to be a consultant on the Final, Definitive Box Set Hard Back Leather Tooled Edition With No Mistakes that I sometimes dream about...?What on Edil-Amarandh is a 'big elephant stamp'??? I've never heard of it, although I'm familar with various strange stamps, courtesy of my regular Latin teacher, another Latin teacher and my father's old Latin teacher (example - hedgehogs saying 'euge' (hurray!)). And the idea of being a consultant on the 'Final, Definitive Box Set Hard Back Leather Tooled Edition With No Mistakes' - well, I'd love it, but I fear I have too much schoolwork! Any excuse to read the Books of Pellinor, however flimsy, is good enough for me! And did you really dream of said definitive edition? There is something called a work-life balance...:p :p :p

Sooooo many pages
But I've read them (this thread at least) :)

Thank you for answering my question Alison.
And sorry I wasn't at the signing. I really wanted to be there. I'd flown to Germany before that, and then came back for a media award ceremony thast day, which i didnt win, then flew back to Germany a couple of days after.
So my questions is, any chance of another UK signing in the fore-seeable future? :)
