why is it that we're all in love with Cadvan but not Saliman? I know i like rugged outdoorsey types (Aragorn.....) but what is it that means we don't fall for Saliman?

Oh i know we see the story through Maerad's eyes and as she isn't in love with Saliman (she doesn't know she's in love with Cadvan yet....) none of us are.....
