Custos Morum, speaking as a fellow Canadian, I ordered the Riddle from Amazon.co.uk and I think it only took a week to get here, maybe 10 days. The shipping time was very reasonable. Can't remember what the shipping ended up being... I think it was just a bit less than the cost of the actual book, but well worth it, I thought. :D I know I'll do the same with the Crow, since it won't be released in Canada until... 2007 or something, which is much too long to wait for it.

i just brought it from a shop in england

there was only a couple of copies, i asked the shop person and she said that not many had been going since it was published in england!

just think if i had nothing else to read i might have bought The Devil's Footsteps or something!

thank heaven for the shop...if i had not have bought it i would have turned into a zombie or something...i have made my friend Hannah read it and join this forum, she is called Moonstone47 or something. heave you met her she's cool :) :D

Thanks for your help, Rhiannon and evisel! Unfortunately I doubt I'm rich enough to order The Riddle from the UK if the shipping will cost as much as the book... but Evisel, you said it was only about $17 U.S. Hmm... I'll go visit amazon.co.uk now.

And right, relationships -

If Cadvan and Maerad had a baby, what do you think he/she would be named?

Hehe that would be so cute.

www.amazon.ca has The Riddle in paperback for only $12.08! They ship it from the UK in 7-10 days... but I don't know how much the shipping will cost. I have to sign up to find out (which includes giving a credit card #) and 1. I don't have one 2. I'm not giving them my mom's just to find out... you never know who'll get their hands on info like that =/. Sigh.

hmmm, babies, eh? I find the 'relationship' between Maerad and Cadvan to be something that is not stable, in the sense that it is not one way or the other and will prove to have to make one or both of them face some difficult truthes, if you know what I mean.

But that's just me :p for baby names, how about Cadrad, or Maevan? :D
