This WHOLE THREAD IS CRAZY!! There is just pages of why/ why not Cadvan and Maerad will live to see the end of the books! Of course they will!

a) If Maerad dies, Edil-Amarandh dies with her (what a great ending! *cough*)

b) If Cadvan dies, Alison gets an angry mob of fan girls, a large pile of death threats, assasination attempts and Mrs. Cadvan (the now-widow) to deal with. Plus, me, crying myself to sleep for the rest of my life! Also, her conscience- screaming that she can't kill off Cadvan for fear of emotionally crippling Maerad! And everyone else!

I dont know about the Arkan thing getting killed, but about the killing question, I think hey can be killed,but they cant die of natural causes, if you know what I mean?

If they could die then Ardina would be dead... remeber that shew wanted to die when her lover died. She went to the 'afterlife' evene though she wasn't meant to, and she is the only one to come back.
And if she could die from, sy, a weapon, then don't you think she would have killed herself????? What about Maerads Pilani aunt, Sirkana or summat.... she's important as she had the fore-sight that the Fated One would be born to her brother.

No, Elidhu can't be killed - as llaktum said, even when Ardina wanted to die, she couldn't. Hulls won't die of natural causes or even being attacked, but they can be killed by magery; but Sharma can't be killed by any of these means, because of his stealing the Elemental magery. Hmmm...does that cover all the immortals...???
