Yeh, you should introduce yourself. You'll not only get a lettuce pie, you'll get muffins, mushrooms, crackers and other things.

Dying is evil. Why can't Sharma and all the hulls just drop dead?
But we wouldn't have a plot then...
--------------------------
It's really to bad that they can't... However, I think that Nelac, Irc, and Silvia should die... Nelac because he's Cadvan's teacher and Cadvan himself said that he thought that he wouldn't see him again. Irc should die doing a great service for Hem and be revered for all time with songs and tales of the "King's Messenger Bird". And Silvia should die just because she's the first "mother" that Maered has ever had and it would be a huge obstical for Maered to get over. Anyways, I also think that Hem and Saliman should get together romantically as well as Cadvan and Maered..

(Can someone give me a link to where newbies introduce themselves? I'm a bit lacking in the computer skills department and I can't find it)
(And if Cadvan dies and leaves Maered with a child I will throw a hissy fit, and God knows the world doesn't need that :p)

Hello Weird Abby 123! :D

That is a very interesting idea indeed, and one that some passages in the Crow seem to hint of. Alison has also hinted at Arkan and Nelsor's relationship, so why not Hem and Saliman?

My major concerns with this are:

-Age difference. Bad enough with M+C; but Hem is 12 and Saliman, if he is the same age as Cadvan, 70-80 but looking about 35.
-Hem's age; he is 12 for goodness' sake! That's to young to have a serious relationship, in my opinion.
-Repetetiveness. If M+C and H+S happen, they are both very similar i many ways and it might seem a bit odd.
-Everyone getting together; if all 4 main characters get a partner, it would be unrealistic, to my mind...

Ok, let me answer these
1. You're right, that is a big deal and I really don't want them to be in a serious relationship when I'm reading the book, I was kinda thinking of an eppi y'know? Also, Hem has gone thru so much and been exposed to so much that I think it's safe to say that he's really mature. Not enough to "date" Saliman I think but that will come in time. (Sorry about not making that clear, I *don't* want them to get together in the books, but I would love if it happened in the epilogue)
2. Like I said before, I wouldn't want them to persue a relationship while he's that young. But I think that it'd be a really nice eppi
3. *Sobs* I KNOW! I want M and C to get together (Yes, I'm a hopeless romantic, shush!) But you're right, it would be repetetive and I don't think that she'd do that, however if I had to choose between M+C and H+S I would pick H+S, for sure. So in summery for this point, I agree that all of four main characters shouldn't get together.
Still though, I think that *I* would be happy with that ending:D...

yeah, but if dernhil hadnt died, M+D wouldve happened, and D+C arearound the same age, so if M+D can work then M+C has to!
