Young- Yes alright but so is maerad in some respects and hems been through more tooo.

Infatuation- What does this mean?

Dumb- Not really not now haerd and zelika taaght him though some ares are a bit grey. But so was Maerads.

Unaware- Hardly! He was chasing off hull at the age of 6 by the sound of it. He's seen his friends die. he's seen his long lost sister. he knows the world can be harsh but also its very kind so he is aware!
Erm, I was actually talking about him wanting to marry Zelika not about his personality or anything... I think he's one cool cookie.. (Wow, I just said "one cool cookie" I'm officially impressed with myself :p)

Infatuation

Noun
1. a foolish and usually extravagant passion or love or admiration
2. temporary love of an adolescent [syn: puppy love]
3. an object of extravagant short-lived passion

The 2nd one is kinda the thing I was going for...

Um this is all really good stuff, but this is actually the 'Who Will Die' thread, soooo-it's kind of off topic. I think there is a thread for other pairings where you could continue this...somewhere!

I have a really good ending!!!!! Big war ends everyone thinks Maerad is dead but she not so CAdvan kills himself (kind of Tristan and Islode) then Maerad comes back to life and is so sad she marries Arkan so he can bring him back to life!! In some magical way.

EWWWWWWWW! NOOOOOOOOOOO! i hate Arkan, and that is soo Romeo and Juliet. (The part about her dying, but not really, and then he kills himself.)

It sounds like an ff ending.

There is something strangely compelling about Arkan... He cares for her... It's a strange relationship but no doubt he will play an important part in The Singing.

I can't help but think Cadvan is going to die... It would just seem to fit with the ending as much as i don't want him to! Imagine... Maerad brings down the Nameless One, and just before Cadvan sacrifices himself so she can do it. Nawww how sweet?
But seriously I hope I am wrong it would be sad if all this anticipation of will they or won't they get together ends that way

Yes, sweet and...*tear*

*unable to continue*

Nah, just being silly. :p

That could be such a good ending if done well, but personally I'm afraid I would NEVER enjoy the books ever again. [Sorry, Alison, if that is indeed the route you have taken...*tear*]

I agree with you...the series won't be the same if Cadvan dies. I hope Alison doesn't take that route. I know she likes to make people cry but let's have tears of joy! Not sadness...don't we have enough of that in real life?

awwwww! that was really sweet aria!!!!! :)

I too would be horribly upset if Cadvan died :(

It would probably seem a bit unnecessary like in

The black magician trilogy when Akkarin dies :(:(:( I hated that bit

teehee :-)

I definitely don't like getting teased either...they have a lot of chemistry...and if nothing happens it's like then what's the point?! urgg they only solution is for me to get my hands on the book before i go insane!
