I don't know anyone who has read Pellinor. All my friends are thuroughly tired of hearing me talk about it. I did get ONE girl to read the Naming, but she said it was boring. BORING? I think she has some sort of anti-good-book disorder.

haha..same here..i tried to convince my friends to read it and they didnt..:(

ANYWAY...BACK ON SUBJECT!

Someone we know well in the books has to die..it would just seem to..odd..i guess you could say if everyone made it, mainly because they have this raging war around them and for all of them to survive it would amaze me (not that i dont want them to live..it just wouldnt seem realistic) well, i suppose it could be, alison is a good writer so im sure she could write it in a way that would but nevertheless, i bet someone (malgorn/silvia, or hem, possibly saliman) will die:( I'll bet 10 bucks on it

In Bridie's review of the Singing she said something that suggested to me that Soron was no longer travelling with Hem and Saliman. Did he go back to Til-Amon, or was he killed? :(
Maybe I'm reading too much into this.

perhaps lol its easy to read too much into things, but although he has been in the story, he isnt really a "main" character persay, and he might have been killed off...:( but i wonder how he would die?

I don't know; in a skirmish, or defending Til-Amon, I suppose...

I have a really bad feeling about Soron, which is not good as I think he's a very good character. :(

The character that I think will die has always been Saliman, although I don't want him to. He's amazing, you know? And some people might be like, "Oh sure, kill of the black guy," and twist it into some racist thing. Maybe I just have too much time on my hands and that's the only reason I thought this up...
Who knows?
