Hhmm pretty good. The last part honestly doesn't add much to it though, maybe a quote from the begining of the book would be better? Just my 2 cents, please don't change a thing unless you want to.

Oh, haha DaniCarr, this little trailer is pretty shoddy in general, because I don't have much footage at this time. When the actual episode comes around, the final bit will make a lot more sense to you. Based on the scripts I was given by the people here, believe it or not, the film is almost 100% parody. The end of the trailer is simply a line from a script written by Jennistar (with a bit of tweaking). Most of the trailer is deceptively serious because that was the mood I was in when I edited it, added to the fact that I was stuck with mostly 'wistful slave' footage. I stuck the awkward Winterking line on the end as a last-minute and quite random reminder that this was not all amateur video angst. You do have a point that I should have stuck with the drama throughout, but since this is only a trailer for the actual thing, I don't think I'll change it.

If movies are ever made, which would be so cool! i think David Wenham could be a possible Cadvan, thats sorta how I picture him. in LOTR he had the right sort of rustic edge to him. and he didn't an enormous role in that film so i don't really think people would be comparing him that much. I see Hem as like well, this kid www.stepheniemeyer.com/img/actors_posey.jpg .
As for Maerad, i think that a new talent should be cast for her, and i'm pretty confident in saying that most likey every girl who read the books fancied herself as maerad, because there was just something in her that could relate to you.

I personally think movies would be a good idea for these series.

Hi Ivana, please introduce yourself! The introductions thread is usually the top or second-to-top one.

I can sort of see that kid as Hem... but he needs brown hair. And I disagree most vhelmantly (however you spell that) about David Wenham. He looks nothing like I pictured Cadvan.

Hem is supposed to have black hair like Maerad - that kid is quite good, but something about his face is wrong, imo.

I know he is supposed to have black hair, but I always pictured him with brown hair for some reason.

The kid could work, but I wonder if he could pull off anger and hurt, since thats how Hem is at the begining

You're going to need a really angsty kid for Hem... Seriously, he needs like overly large blue eyes and a really big scowl XD. He had my sympathy throughout the series, that's for sure. His story is really sad, I think casting him might be as hard as casting Maerad or Cadvan.

Yes - getting a young actor to portray the depth of Hem's character without actually abusing them would be hard.
