Did i ever tell you how much i LOATHE and DETEST The OC..... well, to the suggestion that someone from that vile show be Cadvan...

NOOOOO NEVER NEVER NEVER!!! i would die! if ANYONE from the oc had ANY asociation with these books and i would promise to hunt and take my horrific revenge upon whom-so-ever made the suggestion to have ANY of those actors even within 1000 feet of the production, have i made myself clear?

soooo :D now thats out of the way i doubt Hayden would be anygood, he's too young for starters and he most definately cannot act.

Gemini - I must say that the plastic boobies from OC don't fire my mind's eye either... :)

The only thing that I think really essential is that whoever plays these parts have to be excellent actors. To be fair to Hayden, even Euan McGregor - who is a good actor - looks like he's made of wood under George Lucas' direction, so what hope did young Anakin have?

I think he needs to be about 15 years older... but since any film, if it did happen, would take about that long, he would probably be in the running... :D

I'm rather enjoying getting to look at these beautiful young men. But they're too young for Cadvan, they're just babies!

Glad to see that the more mature man has the author's vote. Give me Sean Bean anytime over these young pups. :D Though Travis Fimmel is mighty fine...

 Well....he looks like a friendly type - just a little on the stout side...

Sean Bean. Well, he's my pin up, and if he wanted to play Cadvan in a putative movie, hey, I might get to meet him... :D (compelling argument, guys) ... and also, he's a very good, and rather underused actor - he's got rather typecast in movies as the bad guy. He does a fair bit of theatre.
