Clive Owen? I've always found him a bit wooden, and as for Gerard Butler, i've no idea who he is.
Actualy Clive has the right look for Cadvan IMO, and you're right King Arthur was cr@p in general :D and he was awful in it, but he was quite good in 'Beyond Borders'.

Gerard Butler was in Tomb Raider Cradle of Life, Phantom of the Opera, Timeline, Reign of Fire and Atlia the Hun... ;)

Clive Owen, yeah I can sort of see him as Cadvan, but you are right he was really good in 'Beyond Borders' that movie was so sad!!! :(

Guys, I've had two more ideas as to who could play Cadvan:

Goran Visnjic...sooo hot:

Or Hans Matheson, equally hot:

lol Goran Visnjic is the only reason I watch ER...well maybe only the first five minutes now that 'Lost' is on. :D :D

The Hans guy looks alright :P

That Han's guy would make the best Cadvan so far out of all the guys you all have suggested (excluding Fab and Hayden, of course) He's got the right sort of image i reckon

Goran Visnjic isn't Russian, he's Croatian, and besides: the whole point of actors is that they can be versatile, so that means he could change his accent.
Does anyone else agree with me that we should chuck wood-boy Christensen and Curly-Wurly-Fab off of the shortlist? They just don't fit at all with Cadvan's description, for one. :D

NOOOOO! you cant drop someones ideas off the list  Its rude!! Besides there not that bad suggestions and I reckon half the guys that have been suggested so far have been old and wrinkly and unattractive at least Fab and Hayden are hot!!

lol okay how about a change of character? Has Maerad been discussed a lot? I really cant think of anyone of her age except for Emily Browning.
