Oh Mrs Cadvan, i have an idea, lets reconcile this debate shall we? Agree to disagree, perhaps?

and BTW i have seen his IMDb profile and might i remind you it's the quality not the quantity that counts :D

Oh, definately, I totally agree. But I don't suppose you're familiar with some of the durge that is British TV. :D

Maybe we should discuss something different, like possible locations to shoot certain scenes?
Great idea. I'd say off the top of my head that parts of Chile, Norway, Alaska/Canada and maybe Scotland is what I've imagined whilst reading the books.
There is of course New Zealand, which all you guys down under can probably confirm is the most beautiful country in the world, but let's not fall into the whole LOTR/ Chronicles of Narnia cliche! :D

Glad that was over :p

Umm..I would say that Greenland could be somewhere different and what about the Amazon Rainforest? [deep into the jungle.... :p] instead of New Zealand - for something different. I agree with you though Mrs.Cadvan, some scenes should be shot in the scandanavia regions particularly for the The Riddle anyway. Oh and the Sahara has to be featured for the Crow for the whole hot and orange environment. Oh but why Chile?

Oh but why Chile?
Here's some of the reasons why:

How about this for Zmarkan and that area:

Might not be the best place though. Seems to be lacking somewhat in forests and flat land, of which there is quite a bit in Edil-Amarandh...

OK, I concede Chile looks great. The mountainscape could be used for the Gift though.

the pyrinees on the border of france and spain would be great for the mountains on thorold except its not on an island... but still very similar in my opinion.

WOAH. I take a break because of exams and WHAM! There's all these random messages that don't really make sense. And I guess I'm adding to that list. So what's the topic again? Oh, right, it's a thread I started up. I should know, then, I guess. So can anyone tell me how far off the topic we are?
