After Crow i do find he fits perfectly, i just can't find a good picture of him, he's a brilliant actor though. I recently saw another of his movies, Red Dust, i actually base Saliman's accent off of his accent in that.

Although this has probably been asked and run over a bazillion times I'm re-awakening and old and hugely debated question through a partiality to repetition; What unknowns of your aquaintance would be best to play the characters?

Yay. OOo, I can smell the controversy!
Apart from famous actors and yada yada what about unknowns? Like relatives and such. Friends you have, or teachers or even enemies.

I think my best friends brother would be perfect at Hem. Spiffie pic of him and his sister=

Quality is dismal, I admit, but he's partial to chocolate-based bribery so I remain optimistic of snapping a more appealing one. What do you think?

Oh, and a piccie would help if you have any suggestions. Ta much. ^^

Thats quite a good image of Hem! Though I expect Hem to be scruffier obviously!

I'm sure there are millions of people out there that are perfect for character roles, quite sad actually, so many characters not given the chance to be themselves in movies :D . I think that kid would make a perfect Hem! He looks like how I pictured him...

sozzy-I just feel that so many great book have been ruined by films-simply by casting inappropriate actors and actresses..grr.LOTR was excellent though. If they were made into films though-i'd end up going to see them(I have pathetic will power) :D
