I'm popping in randomly, like I always do.
I think that Arkan is really jealous of Cadvan, because Maerad's heart is really with Cadvan, and he knows that, having th magic pool and everything.
I also think that almost no one talks about Maerad much! It's always Cadvan...

I disagree. Maerad only met Arkan because of the Treesong, and Arkan was only, or at least mostly interested in her for the Treesong.
