are we assuming that Ardina knows ALOT more than she is letting on, because I think she does....

i'm certain Ardina knows lots more. There is that point in Rachida when she's going to say eomthing to Maerad and then stops.

ooh i remember!! i'm also quite sure ardina loads more as she already knew her elemental part of maerad and her third name,etc!

but then why doesn't she tell maerad her third name is she knows it? or perhaps she intends it to be revealed at the right time....

I think you could be right, that there is some underlying, extra level to this all, and we haven't (or might of briefly) touched upon it.
