yeah but not dead looking! which is what happens when you give someone with a complexion like that black hair... it happened to Gwyneth Palthrow... Besides Rachel's sort of pale, sort of

I doubt she'd be dead looking, for example, look at Liv Tyler, she's really pale, with black hair, and she's fine.

BTW never Liv Tyler for Maerad, never never never, she really gets on my nerves... esp with little overbite thing she has

Yeeeeees but she has a different complexion, she was born with black hair shes not albino looking like claire.... just cos someone's pale doesn't mean there gonna look bad with black hair BUT if they're slightly albino looking (pale skin, blue eyes, blonde hair) then there not gonna look good with black hair cos they look washed out and sick/dying

To be honest, Gemini, I am actually quite impressed with the photo. But still, I'd perfer to imagine my own character...damn it, you got that image in my mind now!

I think that pic (whoever she is) fits with Maerad, not because of her looks, but because of her expression... she's got that faraway look on her face, which few of the other pictures have.

I still think it'd look ok, you'd have to get the shade right, you know, possibly balck with a blue-ish sheen or something.

You're right bai_xu, that second pic has the perfect expresion IMO.

Ok, i just went into paint and coloured in the hair on the second pic in black, and it didn't look half bad :D

But i'm not going to post it b/c 1. i have no idea how and 2. it was a really crappy job, YET looked good all the same :D so, if it's donme for real, imagine how good it would be :D

Have you got PhotoImpression? It's a software that allows you to alter photos. The photos I've done on that looked quite realistic...but im not gonna say what photos were about...okay, that sounds a bit dodgey... ;)

I love Maerad! I think she's a dear. She could so easily be completely hateful and witchy because of her experiences in Gilman's Cot, but she's very loving inside, I think.

Her hate for Enkir and her desire for revenge rather scares me, actually. I don't blame her in the least for feeling that way and it would be extremely surprising if she didn't feel that way. Nevertheless, it still frightens me, because hate and revenge is what causes war to happen, at least, to my mind. This isn't much of a spoiler, is it, eh?
