Let's hope he would go for the second one as if he went for the first one then I think there would be many people (mainly on this site) who would be extremely upset about a Cadvan suicide!!!:p

someone should start a new fan-fic thread about that story! (well, you could skip the birds and the bees) that would be cool. and you could choose a baby name! like in that thread... somewhere... where we were discussing what their baby would be called. :p that would be funny go for it guys!

I think it has to do with her elemental name secretly hidden somewhere by ardina. She knows that she has to protect her from Sharma as well as Arkan. This might be link how to destroy Sharma or maybe how to place the Treesong together at the end.

Ardina does seem to be full of surprises, but i feel that if she knows, she won't tell Maerad until the last possible moment, or until she feels that it has come to be the right time.

If Ardina knew, wouldn't Arkan probably know it as well? Maybe not, but I keep thinking that if she knew he would know too. So I keep thinking she doesn't know her name.

lol, was also surprised that maerad has been long neglected.:( But anyway, i'll just add that maerad is my favorite character (next to cadvan, they're tied!) because she is extremely realistic. She kinda awkward sometimes (like me :) ) and she doesn't take anything for granted or too lightly. She's someone I'd totally love to have as a friend! :D
