Hey, first post here. How would one define Hellboy's genre? Fantasy? Dark Sci-Fi? Horror Fiction? Thanks.

If this is in regards to where best to post I'd say it depends in what media your referring to? The comic books? the film? the novels?
Overall I'd say it would be best to post in the comic book section....

To answer your question generally... It's not really sci-fi, I push more towards supernatural fantasy. In some ways it's a bit like The X-Files with a demon Mulder and well Abe as Scully!

Really enjoyed the movie though. Wasnt expecting much but it was quite something. Not in the same League as Spiderman or Burtons Batman but solid nonethless

That's funny, I just watched it on DVD tonight. I've seen it a few times.

I think it's really good, it has a good mood and atmosphere, dark and very comic book-like. Spiderman's cool but I'm always a bit disappointed with those movies..kind of too squeaky clean or something.

Hellboy is a funny guy too, with a great personality, which adds a lot to the film.
