Wahay! I've practically got the author's own vote!!! Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Armitage-shippers!
Muhahhaahahaha NEVER Armitage will go on!!!!!!!!!
soooooooooo anyhoo, I was watching 'Grapes of Wrath' this afternoon and it struck me that Henry Fonda had the right look, *sigh* pity that was back in the 40's *sigh* pity he's dead... http://www.odarainternet.com.br/supers/cinema/imagens/gal-henry-fonda.jpg

Also you only get the right 'Cadvan vibe' :D heh, form Richard if you see him in North and South, plus you hear that accent of his, there's something very attractive about yorkshire accents :D hmmm

Now THAT is what you call a Cadvan ;) ... He's perfect, aside from the fact he's kind of...dead... But golly gosh isn't he gorgeous?

I chose Hayden C co he's gorgeous - and cos i didn't know who most the others were. I don't think Richard A's the right guy - did see NandS, and yeah he was great, but soo not Cadvan. And Sean Bean - No! Bad! lol :)

I've checked out the pics of the guys, and yes, some of them are preety fit (ok, more than pretty...SO fit...) but, for me, I wouldn't want the book to be actually made into a movie, because sometimes, the people who play it doesn't turn out to be the way you imagine them to be... e.g. I imagine Maerad to be slender and pretty and young, but in a movie, you can get someone like Cameron Diaz to play her, and it would be totally wrong, and ruin your whole , well...thing towards the character (I'm hoping I'm not offending anyone here).
Does anyone agree with me?

Put like th@ i would agree with you there... but wouldn't it be fun just to see them made into films - just to see them, like LOTR's. and in the end, for some peeps films will be the first they here about Pellinor, and then they'ed want more so then they'ed go buy the books - YaY, well for AC anyway!
