Yeah, maybe we could just issue another poll that doesn't involve any of the suggestions made in the first...

hey, i literally just found this site this minute while i was looking to see if anyone had tried to illustrate Alisons Croggon's AMAZING books, and i found this site...and great we're thining about Cadvan an' all but...unless ive missed another poll somewhere...shouldn't we be asking who should play Maerad? eh? eh?

Nope - because I think I'd be one of the only active (well, sort of active)-posting guys in this section, all the others are females, and they're invariably enthralled with Cadvan.

Hmm... I just got a strange yet disturbingly fitting mental image of that scene in Holy Grail, execpt it's Cadvan that enters the castle full of young, lonely teens all between sixteen and nineteen... and it's Mrs. Cadvan as their leader, of course. :p

(Not to confuse you, tin - Mrs. Cadvan is (to her utmost disappointment) not Cadvan's wife, just an active poster on these boards. :))

EDIT:
Yeah, maybe we could just issue another poll that doesn't involve any of the suggestions made in the first...This is when you need vBulletin to have dynamic polls. *thinking cogs start turning*

actualy, we do,http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11106 and we have a couple of 'Pellinor as movies threads' http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11106 where people suggested actors for other characters as well.

I think you didn't notice the Maerad thread because there are nw three pages worth of threads... i remember when there where onlt 5 threads total, ah the good l'd days lol :D

We aren't completely obsessed with Cadvan Akdor, we do sometimes, maybe, discuss other issues :D
