Oh no!
"We must stop them!"
"How, Cadvan?"
"By turning them into rabbits, of course!"
"They are already rabbits, Cadvan!"
"Oh yes..."

"We need a new animal.. what about flies? Surely they are harmless enough"
"Nonsense, no matter what we turn Sharma into he'll still come back to haunt us, he grows stronger with every transformation."
"What do we do?"
"We eat him, of course."

"What will we kill the rabbits with?"
"The White Flame!"
Cadvan and Maerad travel until they see a huge horde of glaring rabbits. Then they...

"Er.. Cadvan, which one is Sharma?"
"They all look alike."
"What do we do... we can't kill them all. They are harmless bunny rabbits!"
"We have to, there is no other way."

Several rabbits attack all at once, biting their poisonous fangs (for Sharma had been busy with the general genetics of rabbits) into Cadvan's and Maearad's unprotected flesh. The poisonous took instant effect, more septic than the deadliest mushroom... everything looked so dour as the two bards fell hard on the ground...

(Awe! that's too happy an ending!)

But eating Sharma was a bad mistake. Corrupted from his many years of evil doing, he was filled with a malice that, as Cadvan and Maerad eat his cooked flesh, seeped into their own bodies.
