So how old would you say Cadvan is? and Silvia? And how long to you think Maerad will live? (that's if she suvives the events in the books) Also would her Elidlu blood make her live any longer?

Also would her Elidlu blood make her live any longer? Excellent point, I hadn't thought of that.
I *think* it says somewhere that Cadvan is 80 - I'm not totally sure, though.

Yeah, I think so too. I think that Bards stop aging at the normal pace once they reach the age 20-30, because in the riddle, on page87,

Elenxi was just telling Maerad and Cadvan his life story, and he says:
I came back to Velissos and married my Kiranta...I was very happy for a long time. But then as is the way of things, my children grew up and my Kiranta grew old. And that's when Barding caught up with me. ...
I reackon he was somewhere about 30 by then, so...
Oh, and the same happened with Cadvan,. as he said in The Gift somewhere, when he was telling Maerad about himself when he was little, when he first discovered he could speak to animals, in the cave in the mountain, where they met the lion. Ring anybells anyone?

Man, it's been a long time since anyone wrote in this thread. I got a question that might tbe appropriate to put in this thread. Here goes...

Does anyone have any idea what Sharma might look like?

For some reason I automatically thought he would look like the Devil... but not red, brown... lol i dunno...weird
Or i can see him as a big pile of brown gloop with devil horns sticking out... actually i never really thought about it
