Slow-moving? Yeah, we're going to have to work on your presentation skills, there, Caitlin. :)

Glad to hear that the new novel is going well. Do we get another hint as to what it is about?

How about "dreamlike" instead of "slow-moving"? ;)

As for my new one: it had its genesis while I was talking to my friend Cass the summer before last. The subject of her name came up, and I did my pedantic thing and told her the Cassandra myth (briefly!). And then it hit me: what if, instead of being cursed to always tell the truth and never be believed, a seer were cursed to never tell the truth and always be believed? It flowed from there. A first-person narrator (the seeress in question), though she sometimes tells her story in third person, and in present as well as past tense. So it's sort of like Telling, in that there's only one point of view. There aren't any weird and wonderful races in this one. And I believe that's all I'll divulge! :)

Cool. Just tell me one little bitty thing more -- historical fantasy, contemporary fantasy or secondary world?
