I think a Pellinor musical would be better.

Seriously, it could be the next 'Wicked'. But less green... and Maerad won't die at the end...hopefully...
Well, she won't melt.

A Pellinor musical would be VERY strange, not least because being adapted for the stage would be really hard, but also...music is very important, but...yeah.

No, I really hope Maerad doesn't melt...:p

I think it would be dramatic to have a seperate musical about the Elidhu - that would be very cool and very dark :]

Oh great. Here we go again. No way can there be Pellinor the musical. It just requires too many specail effects, and all those other doodads and stuff.

Go Live Action Pellinor!!!!!!!!!

LOTR is a musical. Or a play.
not sure which.

It's apparently very successful.
Not sure it would work for Pellinor though.

Yes LOTR is a musical in the west end. At The Theatre Royal Drury Lane. I toured round it on thursday. A most beautiful theatre and the set for LOTR looks amazing!
Im going to see it i hope.
So in that way i think Pellinor could be a musical.
Its all possible on stage, truly it is.
Especially at Theatre Royal.

But itd have to be LOTR famous first, so thatd mean making a movie!

Exactly. I totally see your point. No musical. At least, not until Pellinor is made into a movie.

Ummmmmmmm... that would cause me to hate the books and would probably make people who where thinking of reading the books not read them by the fact the now a days broadway musicals tend to suck

i think that the book could be a film b/cits just another way of tellin the story and since barly any1 now a days reads books more ppl wood go see a film and more ppl wood experianc the story and the hole pont of this post is 2 say that i love the book and if most ppl like films then i want them to no the story and like it coz alison deserves it for havin such a great book :) :)

ive don it again ive confused myself

well if you turn all the good books into movies people are going to be even less likely to read the book in my opinion it will just be ......... yeah i watched the movie so i dont need to read the book....... and i dont think that theyd nessescarily experince the story they cut so much out in movies, some people might not even realise its an adaption and plenty of people still read books id also like other people to know the story and it could be interesting to see a movie but is it worth the risk that they might end up knowing the massacred version instead of the excellent one? but im getting off topic *sigh
