I've never actually seen a white crow!!

I thought that Irc was sort of a parallel to Hem, as Hem is picked on by the other kids cos his white, etc in the preview chapters of The Crow and so is Irc. :)

for a start yes Owleye Irc is a white crow. and i think you guys are being unfair picking on poor Irc how can you say someon will die and you don't know their role in the whole story line and personally i find Irc an instantly loveable character and he's cute and funny and would be excellent comical relief if you ask me. as for Saliman i think he will serve a purpose and then die because when Cadvan and Maerad were inInnail in The gift and Cadvan was talking to ummm . . . whats her name? . . . . you know the woman in thw white gown that is the head of the first circle in Innail? . . . . .anyway when she and Cadvan had that silent conversation that neither we nor noone of the other characters heard something important was passed and i think it could possibly do with Saliman or Silvia. but something is up with Saliman. and i think he will die. but as for Irc i refuse to place a judgement on his fate until i've read more.

gees talk bout babble. i'll now retreat to my littl e hole.

Honestly, what is it with you guys all thinking that Saliman will die????????

Ok, let's have a vote. If you think Saliman will die later in the book, type it in, and tell us why.

If you don't think he will die, type that in, and cross your fingers.

The name of the first bard of Innail is Oron I think but I thouht that silent conversation was about Cadvan and Oron wasn't it something to do with Oron dying. Cadvan sought of said the next time he would see her was past the gates....and Silvia said she saw her dying too. Though I agree Saliman is the one who seems more likely to die in the Crow/The Singer

I didn't know you could get a white crow  Well i guess you learn something new everyday. And by the way, crows aren't supposed to be very nice... I mean they eat other animals, there like vultures there associated with evil... I think Irc should have been a different type of bird... Oh well I'm sure Irc will be a very nice non-animal-devouring birdy
