Everything - the story, the encyclopaedic glossary, and the maps - is done in draft, and now I'm waiting to hear back from the last of my editors before spending about three weeks or so buffing and polishing. So far everyone seems overjoyed with the manuscript - no small relief!

It's tentatively slated for release January 2006 in Canada and the US (May 2006 in the UK), though my Penguin editor mentioned the possibility of releasing it earlier. We shall see...

Yeah Martins' supposed to be out in the fall or by christmas or something is waht they're saying now. The Bonehunters should be getting close to being finished shouldn't it?

Bonehunters was finished a couple months back - publishers are taking their time with maps and such, won't be released until february.
Jordan in October, Martin in November.

Personally I don't see any reason to think of this as an especially good time - far as I can tell, there are good books coming out all the time anyway.
