Does anyone know of an informative link with descriptions of the 12 steps of the heroic cycle? Everything I find only mentions the steps, but does not describe any of them.
While we are on the subject, anyone know of a link with the archtypal characters?

I don't know of a link, but I believe Joseph Campbell outlines the steps (and archetypes) in one of his books.

'The hero with a thousand faces' by Jospeh Campell is probably what you're looking for.
Warmed-over jungian babble or a masterpiece, depending on your perspectiv.e

Yes, starting reading through Campbell's book and got too bogged down in all of his babble. I think he got lost in his own thoughts, and I wasn't in the mood to put it all together into something short and to the point. But I know other people have ;)
Thanks for the links.
