peter, at least it was ur english teacher! my HISTORY teacher gave me 2 detentions and confiscated my copy of the riddle cause i read it instead of the richard 3rd thing!:mad:and i havent got it back! ( i got another one off amazon though lol):D

Sometimes reading this forum gives me the impression that teachers worldwide are cursing my name... :D I can't help feeling pleased, of course, that people can't put the books down even for Richard III (which is a great play, btw, you should get out the DVD with Ian McKellan).

You should tell them that they ought to be pleased that you're reading!

i once got caught reading 'to kill a mockingbird' in science. we has a supply. and my friends and me tried to pretend it was on the syllabus, it didnt go down to well. i got the book took off me, so when it came to english, where it was waht we were reading, i didnt have my copy and had to try and explain :rolleyes:

oh my gosh! Are these teachers blind! They should be happy enough that you're reading, maybe a simple "could you focus more on Science, dear" would be nice. And it wasn"t some US weekly magazine, either, it was a CLASSIC :mad: :mad: :mad:
