hahaha...i so agree wiht the streetlight thing as soon as u get into a patch of light u find where your up to and then when your about to start reading again the light goes past and then u have to wait till the next one and the same thing happens all over again!
i hate taking long car trips at night and having a really good book that you really really want to read but you just cant! so frustrating...trying to talk the driver into turning on the interior light and having no battery left on your phone so u cant use that as a light!...yeah its happened to me before, could you tell??:p

lol! I can tell you are definately one of the ones who have attempted to read in the dark in the car!! I'm glad I am not the only one who waits for the next street light with impatience and is glad when there is a traffic jam and you get to stop near a street light all for the sake of a good book!! lol! :)

Too true, too true ! I found the Gift in my school library last year, when i needed to strech my mind. Everyone else in my year reads jaqueline wilson  and Harry Potter and I wanted something different. I saw this large spine looking at me and the librarian giving me evils so i grabbed the book loaned it and read it. Its now the 1st anniversary!!! ( of knowing about the world of pellinor) oh and by the way M+C r totally gonna b !! (I ship them):D

books with thick spines are like king size chocolate bars...so much goodness :D

Harry Potter is good...but at some point it got old to me, by being too young for me, because the latest ones didn't come out soon enough to be perfect for me, and because it got old to the author too...(the last one being a theory)

have I confused anyone? :o :D  :p

I know what you mean about Harry Potter! I mean I first read it when I was like 10 or around then and I'm now 17!! I used to read them over and over again! I've read the first 4 hundreds of times but the latest two I've read only once each just to find out what happens. I don't hyper-anaylse it like I used to and I'm just waiting for the next one so I know how it ends but I'm not really that bothered anymore!

i found the naming in Barnes and Noble bookstore... I love books! I saw it when it first came out here in the the states... quite a while ago. And I kinda thought it was cool, but other books looked better... I pick and choose wisely... books are expensive! I probably considered getting it about 5 times before I actually picked it up about 3 weeks ago. After I read it I decided to find out when the next book came out and was aghast that it wouldnt be out here in the states until the fall!!! So I hopped online and ordered it up for about 16 bucks US... that includes shipping and everything. The Crow I might just have to order from Austrailia... but I think I can wait until in comes out in the UK... in like July right? but alas it will still take 2 or 3 weeks to get here!!! I used to love getting books from the library... but once I had money in my pocket I loved to have books that were MINE... that I could read whenever, and I didnt have to worry aobut anyone else not taking care of it... or loving it the way I did... I truly love my books... I have a lot!!!
