I was walking through the high school library, looking at a bunch of books they had displayed. I had practically given up ever finding another great fantasy book (since Lord of the Rings). But when I saw The Naming and read the back, I thought that it sounded interesting. Little was I to know how wonderful it was. Anyway, I'm extremily glad I found it:D It's one of the best books I've ever read!

In July 2005, I was in a local library and I spotted the Gift...I loved it! I searched ages for the Riddle and finally got it (and a copy of the Gift) in November 2005. I found the Crow in September 2006 after waiting ages for it and shortly afterwards I found this place, though I browsed for ages.......now my copy of the Gift has been so loved a page has fallen out....grrrrrrrrrr...luckily I still have the page!

you're probably wondering how i still know the dates...so am i! :D

but then i took it out and read it, since then i´ve been addicted ^^
and bought 1 week after that the riddle by amazon (:

As I said when I introduced myself...I was given "the gift" by my friend two years ago when I was in hospital :(. It's one of the more painful reasons I've been given a book...lol :D

I was out christmas shopping with a friend, and we went into Waterstones. (this was a bad idea, as my friend learnt :p)
I saw The Gift sitting on the shelf and liked the look of the cover, so I read the back. I wasn't sure about buying it cause I still had loads of presents to buy. But when I read the 1st paragraph, i had to get it. :D

Buying it actually gave my parents another idea for a present for me. I got the riddle and the crow for christmas.
