man that was freaking awesome lol mine is a little more normal unfortuneatly

i was sitting in the longest most boroing class of my life FRENCH *curses curses cureses* when the girl next to me was like im going to read so she pulled out the Naming i asked her what is was aobut she told me "love at first sight:D " i ordered it from amazon :D and it came in the mail and i was forever happy my only issue is i live in the US so the crow wont come for a while i have only read the first two books (LAME) someone cry with me:mad:

I'm crying with you! I feel the same way! ARGH! My mom works for an airline, so international tickets are only $50...I am SO tempted to fly to Australia or something and buy it there! Of course, I'd have to have money to do that...which I don't...

My aunt gave it to me this past Christmas Eve and I fell in love instantly. So much in fact that when my Mimi (g'ma) sent me some books by Gregory McGuire, I exchanged them at Barnes and Noble for the Riddle! :D

I think the Naming is required reading for one of the english classes at school, contemporary lit, I think, because one girl at my lunch table was reading it with post-its and notes all over the inside. Yay for my school!!! :D Too bad I'm not in that class...

Hm... I found the book in a more usual way... I was browsing my school library's fantasy shelf, and came across the book. I read the blurb, and skimmed roughly through the book, and deciding I liked it, checked it out.

And then, two months later, it came off my shelf and (completely ignoring the overdue notices) I started reading it... and instantly fell in love. :p

I must really thank the wonderful AC here for bringing me back onto reading... I was a major bookworm back in primary school (averaging about two books every three days). But after I started high school, I couldn't bring myself to read anymore, and books suddenly grew boring (horror!). I had, literally, in the past two years, only read a grand total of 5 books (but loads of various fanfiction and online literature... O.o). The Gift totally brought me back into reading! And now it's my favourite book of all time!!! :D

I found The Naming (yup, from the states, i think The Gift is a better name) while i was browsing a bookstore. I thought it looked interesting so i wrote down the title. I put it on hold at my library, read it, and fell in love with the characters. I think i re-read it as soon as i finished. I was distraught when i found out the The Riddle wouldn't be coming out till the next year.

I'm ashamed to admit that i forgot all about The Riddle till i spotted it in a bookstore. I nearly jumped up and down, and started reading it right there. I put it on hold at the library the next chance i had. Sadly, i was in the middle of re-reading another book series, and didn't get the chance to start The Riddle for several months. A friend of mine got The Crow off Amazon and she lent it to me, and so you find me today.

Anyways, i'm in love with Alison's world. But who wouldn't be after reading those books?
