Is it? Is it really? Are you positive? Are you sure? Would you still be so sure when you've got a gun pointed to your head?

Yeah, I've gone mad! (everyone cheers)

I found 'The Gift' last year in my local bookshop, for a start the book pleased me aesthetically, the covers beautiful and its a nice healthy, hearty size, I know it's naughty to 'judge a book by it's cover' but I was really drawn to it immediately! Being a fantasy nut I thought the 'blurb' sounded fantastic! I needed a few books to take on my hols' with me and this one stood out, I was totally absorbed after about the third page and I didn't move from the spot I sat until I had finished it!(well apart from toilet and one sleep break! :) )I broke the bad news to my boyfriend, I had fallen in love with the book!

The Pellinor books utterly appeal to me, the adventure, the fantasy, the romance, the relationships, the poetry, the music, it came alove inside of my head and bewitched me.

I completely connect with the protagonist, Maerad, and totally love Cadvan.
In short there is absolutely nothing wrong with this book! Bellisimo!

Do i sound slightly psychotic, I do apologise! I am not a raving lunatic, I am just a passionate old romantic!!XX

no were not identical, it would be very weird for boy/girl twins to look the same.
Looking the same and being identical are not the same thing. Identical twins are essentially genetic clones of oneanother. The embryo split and became two babies as opposed to just one. Look at Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. They are identical in appearance (unless you look really closely) but they are in fact fraternal twins. Also, it would be impossible for identical twins to be different genders, because of the afforementioned "genetic clones" thing.

And so I can stay on topic, I found The Naming while wandering in Waldenbooks. The cover just caught my eye. And the description inside the cover sort of sold me. I even ordered The Riddle from amazon.co.uk because I couldn't wait for it to come out in the states. I didn't even know exactly how much I was paying for it in U.S. dollars. In pounds, it was 13.37 including the shipping. That worked out to be roughly 23 - 24 U.S. dollars according to a currency conversion website. Now I have to wait for the next one to come out so I can pay way more than cover price to import it as well.
