I made a t-shirt for her that has "CADVAN IS SEXY" written on the front in huge block letters. Yes, I am that cool. Hehe.
You could go into buisness making those shirts, what with all the Cadvan obsessed fan girls in this forum :D. Also, you can one up your friend, you can say that you've "spoken" (in a sense) with Alison, heh.

keeping on topic i found The Gift (or the Naming depending on what country ur in) in my library, my cousin works there and he recommended it so i read it and fell in love instantly. i live in Australia so we get em first and my friend ordered it for me for my birthday and then i got The Riddle for chrissie from her too and now im waiting for The Crow to come out. . . chrissie or b'day im not sure yet but my cousin works in a book store so she said she's gonna order it for me as soon as she hears it coming thorugh the warehouses. . . . can't wait. but until then this little fanclub (i recommend the jacket to teh badges) is helping to naw away time.

I remember what I was doing when I found "The Gift"

I was sitting in the local Canterbury bookshop looking for a nice big thick book to entertain me while I travelled around europe and my eyes settled upon a shiny new (thick) book, and it's partner sitting right next to it.

So I picked it up, grabed a 20 pound note from my dad, walked home, sat under a tree... and started reating. ;)

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How many twins do we have out here???
Right, there's Bridie, Element99 and Siobhan...
Okay, if you have a twin, raise your hand pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!

Soz haven't been around for ages. but

*raising my hand* another twin here! Oh and Alasse the other one would come on but shes too scared of wading through so many threads.

I found the Gift after my friend pestered me to read it. I wouldn't just becasue she did but then...... i'm in the school library and decided to pick it...... and now..... its mine! :D

My sister brought it and thought it was boring (quelle horreur!) and gave it to me as a Christmas present, well actually i forced her to give it to me.

She said she liked it up the the part where Cadvan scries Maerad and then she said that she didnt like it!!!
