I know Alison has said she doesn't know what will happen between them, but I agree with whoever pointed out that the first two books indicate that they will get together. There's a HUGE force of attraction between the two, which might not be voiced, but is still tangible. I don't know quite how it's gonna play out, considering the situation they're in, but, in my mind at least, they have to go down that road. It's inevitable, and wonderful! :D
