Hi all!

Quantum Muse celebrates it's 3rd year anniversary! To honor this momentous occasion, we have an interview with author Glen Cook.

Glen Cook is best known for The Black Company series. He was really a sport to put up with the antics of the QM Editors. http://www.quantummuse.com/glen_cook_interview.html

As usual, we also offer the best in sci-fi, fantasy and alternative short stories and artwork we can find every month. http://www.quantummuse.com

Sincerely,
The Web Goddess. : )

I always like seeing Mr. Cook's name come up. As several book reviews on this site indicate, he is underrated in the genre. As I see folks in the forums discussing themes of fresh ideas in fantasy - I believe the Black Company series more than fills the bill for those looking for a change up from the "unlikely band of plucky heroes brought together by fate to defeat unspeakable evil" ad nauseum series.

The writing and characters are gritty, unapologetic, and unforgiving. Just the sort of thing that puts a smile on my face. Kudos on the interview.

Glen's Black Company remains one of my all-time favorite series. I'm now happy not only to count myself a reader, but a friend of his.

Good man, good writer, very underrated.
