My thoughts are with our members in the UK, and specifically those in London ...

The japanese have an simple saying for hard times - ganbatte ('keep going!').

I do hope all of our London - based members are okay. Our thoughts are with you all, and the families of the victims.

I had a panic this morning tracking my sister down but she is ok thank goodness. Still waiting to hear from some friends but most are in the west rather than the east so I'm sure they are fine. It is a real shock.

What a dreadful thing to happen to Londoners one day after finding out the good news about the 2012 Olympics. I'm sure the mood there must be subsantially changed from yesterday.

One of the first things I thought of while watching the news coverage of the attacks on tv this morning was, I hope the sffworld members from London are okay! This type of thing is very scary. My thoughts are with all of you over there across the pond. :)

Both S and I are fine and NOM is too.

Perhaps we could use this thread as a place for the Londoners amongst us to check in and let us know they're ok.

Oh, a side note. Please keep it politics free.

Sammie, I thought of you instantly! The hospitals must be have a frustrating time to say the least.

And while I am glad to hear that our friends are safe I still offer my condolances that you were touched by such tragedy at all.

On a happier note I must say North Americans have a lot to learn from the Brits. In the news footage, in the brink of disaster, bloodied and frightened citizens calmly stood and waited for the authorties to arrive... a stiff upper lip indeed! Were that America there would have been a human stampede to worsen things.

Anyway, I send my love to you all!

BTW... Has anyone heard from Juzzz?
