I really like the way you draw... :D I'm not sure what it is yet, but there is something that makes you pictures special...they seem to be full of feeling. How long do you work on a picture?
Thanks :D

It depends, the quickest one was about 5 minutes, but that was just the outline and the barest detail.

The longest was a few weeks, that was the In The Woods one, i can mostly blame in on that damn bush and it individual leaves.... (stupid bush) :D

Out of those two, the 'road to lirigon' one took longer beacuse of the extra detail.

The one problem i have is that sometimes, i can't stop, i'll just keep wanting to shade a bit more, or add something here and there.

YES, ALL TECHNICAL SKILL COMES FROM PRACTISE!!!! And it also depends on how observant you are of the things around you...

however, your interpretational skills come from you completely (how imaginative you are) :D

just repeating what my art teacher said...

sorry to kind of butt in...:o :D

Hello all!

Long time no see, sorry to have deprived y'all of my awesome presence for so long. hah. one has been on epic adventures of self-discovery, braving dangers aplenty. not really, i've just been lurking, too lazy to post anything. :D

Well I have another illustration uploaded onto DeviantArt, this time of the Osidh Annova valley where Gilman's Cot is situated at the start of 'The Gift.' This is more of a panoramic piece, if you'd like to take a look:

And plus you might like to have a peek at some older sketches (none particularly good) of Maerad and Cadvan that have been on my gallery for yonks:

Hello!!! :D :D :D I'd seen your works before you joined, they're very good, very realistic :D not like me who can't shade anything :o :p

that's a beautiful painting, it puts a new spin on how I imagined that portion of the book, and I love the pictures of the characters.
