you even have to learn how to draw a circle before you can use those books. :D  besides, I've used normal pencils before and it works just as well, those special tools come later when you've built up enough skill with normal tools...I've stocked up my desk with all the good pencils in my house :p

come to think of it, anime/manga is probably so frustrating because it's one of the most constrictive styles ever! it's almost like math, trying to figure out all the different iddy biddy details about how this and that should be drawn. Paints are something that's much easier, depending on the style. The thing I've found is, sadly, I am a perfectionist! :(

All the art on this is really, really good, i love Mrs Cadvan's version of Maerad.

I've drawn three pictures, there is one of Maerad, one of Ardina and one of Nerili but i don't have a scanner so i can't get them on the computer:(

If you have a digital camera, take a picture and load it to the computer...that's what I did for the first few pictures...if you don't then I can't help you...

So, for some reason, i got this image of Maerad snoozing by the fire, so... i drew it, as you do and here it is>> http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/33599426/

And also, here's Hem from some point in Crow, don't worry, zilch spoilers >> http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/33599855/

Those are cool pictures Gemini!!

Thanks for the suggestions, i think my dad has a scanner but he might have gotten rid of it, if he has done that i'll ask him to get a new one- everyone should have a scanner.
