These drawings are amazing!

I can't even draw stick men!

But these are just WOW! They're wonderful! :)

I'm glad you guys like them! I went on kind of a pellinor art frenzy that week. There were pictures in my mind that kept distracting me, so I put them on paper. It's very therapeutic...and of course the added effect of people liking the drawings is a nice bonus :)

Some people are wondering at the medium I use. It's just colored pencils on a thick, glossy black paper. It ends up looking very painting-like in the end, which is why I like it. I think it has a slightly rough quality that reminds me of illustrations that could be present in the world of edil-amarandh. It's a medium that's difficult to identify because the paper allows me to layer the pencil as one would paint, yet it doesn't look like paint...very confusing ;)

I am trying (and failing misribly) to paint Maerad and Cadvan in one of the forests that they go through. I messed up hugely on Cadvan...he resembled a oddly-colored tree...so I turned him into one. I will finish it...eventually.

He makes a rather good tree, to be honest. I had to make the bark really dark to cover his clothes :D. Otherwise, you'd never know that that tree was originally a Bard of Lirigon...:D
