Spoilers!!!!!

well dont know if im the only one whos come up with this...the horexes!!! ive finished the half blood prince and just reread the first 3 books. dumboldore says somthing very interesting in book 2 (chamber of secrests at the end of the book....) why can harry speak pastle tounge (spelling) and has other strange powers and gifts? dumbledore actually says its because voldermort inadvertantly passed a part of himself INTO harry!!!! (i think people will see where im going with this) there mind link in the following books! suggest a deep link to them. dumboldore actually says that voldermort could pass some of his soul into a living being in the half blood prince (ie his pet snake) but that being would be unpredictable and hard to control!!! so my question is .....Is harry another voldermort horexes!

My daughter is convinced that Harry's lightning bolt scar is in fact a horcrux.
I am hoping that if this is indeed the case, it can be removed without Harry suffering terminal damage.
I am not convinced.......Voldemort was trying to kill the baby, not put a piece of himself into him. I concede the possibility, though.
But time will tell.

what a theory!
i never thought of it myself but what a plot twister!! it has a posability but would J.K.R dare place harry in such a position? would voldemort risk killing harry if he knew he was a horcrux? the answers probably yes...

Not sure it makes sense.

First, he kills Lily - right? Does he kill her and then split his soul to pour into Harry as a horcrux? Why would he make the person he wants to KILL his horcrux? Makes no sense. And we know he fully intended to kill Harry b/c the AV spell is what rebounded off him and diminished V.

i see your point
but harry could still be a horcrux because when the AV spell rebounds back to V, a part of V accidentally could have been passed on to harry, like him being a parsle tongue and their connection, being able to feel the others emotions.... this all may lead to harry being a horcrux or just the fact that harry gained a few powers with V's downfall

I think that you all have a valid point.

It was obvious that voldy wanted to kill harry because of the prophecy (spelling) but maybe he accidently made harry a horcrux or made him one to make him less of an enemy.
Also maybe he underestimated harry because the avada kedavra curse backfired but still made the 7(?) horcrux?

Voldy might have thought that making him a horcrux would disbale him.

But still voldy might not want to kill harry for all the evidence there is he might just want to keep him locked up or make him bad???

well like i was saying, dumboldore actually says in chamber that voldermort accidently passed part of himself into harry!!! i dont think voldy did it on purpose but the magic lily used to protect harry is a magic that noone understands its possible that this was some sort of unknown side effect!! anyway its just a theory.....only JK knows!!!

also notice that at the end of hbp snape makes the point that voldermort has given strict orders noone is to harm harry as voldermort wants to DEAL WITH HIM HIMSELF (also this could just be snape trying to protect him as its all part of some dumbeldore grand master plan  .....but i dont want to get into that discussion as there are a number of posts on it already) but the point is still made voldermort has given that order wouldnt it be simpler for voldermort if the boy in the phrophecy (spelling) was just killed by anyone who gets the chance would save him alot of bother dont you think!!

i think that V would wanna deal with harry himself just to prove that he can do it and V would order the DE not to hurt harry because he would think that if i can't kill him then no one else should be able to, basically to keep himself as no. 1

i also think that V does want harry killed , not to keep him locked up or made bad, because V would be aware that harry could be a rival

I actually rather like that theory, v could possibly have done it by accident, or intentionally! but presumably that would mean harry would have to be killed other wise v would still be alive but didn't dd say something to the equivalent of you can't defeat evil you can only keep surpressing it so maybe v doesn't die in the end!
