I was just thinking, we are so caugh up in what Maerad will look like, but what about her voice? We wouldn't want someone that can't sing to play Maerad, and I'd hate it even more if they couldn't sing and they enhanced her voice and then it's like it's not even her singing, because the actress playing her can't sing! Just a thought, because this was really bothering me and wanted to post it before I forgot.

i can sing.(ish).
ditto. but I agree with piglover- the person who would play Maerad definetly has to be able to sing, or that would just defeat the whole dang purpose of the thing. hint, book 4: "The SINGING"?

Hey, as I said earlier about Maerad's voice and singing and all I don't think Alexis Bledel would make a good Maerad because, well, I don't think her voice sounds like Maerad should. Anybody else agree? I don't know if she can sing, but, idk.

well by ish i meant i have the occiasinal out of tune moment. that's exactly what happends 2 me. I'll be singing quite nicely, and then out of the blue, I go flat. not fair.

Yeah, good point....needs to sing good...but they could get someone who can't sing and enhance the voice, like they do to singers and stuff...

I dunno how good/bad I am cause I daren't sing to anyone!! :o

Yea, but I think it would be fake if they enhanced the voice, I'm not like you when it comes to singing, I sing to every song I hear! Despite the fact that im horrible!:o :D Oh well, at least i have fun!:D
