Well, Thora Birch is still my ideal Maerad. She's perfect.

argh! god no!

totally agree with piglover, rheingold and jessrae...sorry draoi but no way!

maerad is much more...i dunno but thora birch's face is too round and her lips are too big. shes too...sensual i suppose.

maerad is slighter. jessrae i def. agree with the more distincitve features and cheekbones for sure!!

yeah, I completely agree.

I think she'd have smaller lips without all the lipstick, though....

I think it sould be an unknown. It probably would be too, casting directors seem to look for that in movies such as Harry Potter and Eragon and all that jazz. But if it's an unknown she better be an amazing actress! I don't think it would be a very easy role to play and I'd be sooo disapointed if the role was butchered by a girl who was picked only because she looks like Maerad.

But obviously I would love to play Maerad myself! :D that's not gonna happen obviously, I live in Canada and if they're searching in north america it's gonna be in the US. But I have an obsessive love of acting and I've been doing that for a while, and I'm a bit like her I guess. I have dark extremely messy hair, blue eyes, pale skin. And I have her pride.

Hey, I can dream!:o

ok, so again, haven't seen all the posts... and really shouldnt be even online..still have 5000 words to research and write...
i don't really like the idea of finding ppl that look like an of the characters in the book.. doesnt see mto do them justice... plus how u feel for the actors/random people... starts to affect how u see the characters in the book. having said that, i think for maerad.. a really really young liv tyler like person would suit... all that glowing skin, dark hair, pink lips number, fine features, but not sharp if you know what i mean....
