actually that sounds pretty good kavi. A young liv tyler with glowy skin. ;) Yeah i also kinda agree with you about picking an actor to play character's in books. It really does tend to influence the way you picture them from then on. I also find that a near-match (or near-miss!) is worse than an actor who is completely different from how i previously imagined a character.

I think that if I see enough near-matches, I can start to picture my idea of what the character looks like even better. It's just easier to combine the pics of the actors that I've seen. :D

YES!!!! that's exactly what I do! I see many different actors/actresses and combine their features. That's what I've done with maerad and cadvan so far (not really sure about some of the other characters)

hey thats a pretty good look alike! But i think that everyone is gona have a slightly different idea of how each character looks no matter who u believe they look like.
i think mearad would have to be played by a very natural and striking person, as that is how i personally see the character in my head.

those are pretty good...but i tho she would have just a little bit more defined features..like the hair on the second one

Her hair in the second one looks about right....Just the wrong color. (Which, of course, doesn't matter!)

Like piglover, though, I think she needs more defined features.

i think she looks nice... but personally not as maerad. each for their own.. hehe, unless they make a movie, (shock horror)! i'm still going with an extremely young liv tyler..... logistics of which i'm ignoring ofcourse!
