hehe...

I've never heard of any of those, so I looked them up on google images, and I thought Emilie de Raven and Elaine Cassidy were closest, although neither were quite right!

I do think that Liv Tyler should be lady Ardina though, with dark OR light hair! mwahahahah!!

G2G, 'Monk' is on, and it's the best show ever!!

cya!

Emerald :) :) :)

I chose a complete unknown because I've never seen anyone who would represent Maerad well. I sort of have this image of how she should look in my head, and I like it, lol.

I probably wouldn't see the movie if they made one. I'd be too worried about it changing my happy-perspective of the books.

Voted for these: Rachel McAdams and Alexis Bledel....Alexis looked good but a maybe a little too delicate..

What about Emmy Rossum?..dark hair and blue contacts and she could pull it off..or of course there is the girl on the cover of The Raging Quiet.. :D

She is Christine in the Phantom of the Opera movie.....I think an unknown might be better though..no one I've seen quite captures Maerad for me..

Just done some editing of this thread...be nice, my darlings. I believe the only thing that can get you kicked out of SFFworld is abusive behaviour, and I should hate any of you to be banned. And remember, one of the wonderful things about books is that there is NO definitive way any character should look, you are all free to imagine...so no one can be wrong, and everyone is right. ;) If it ever gets to movie status, it's up to the casting director...so you would have to write abusive letters to him/her, if he/she got it wrong...!

I agree with Rachel McAdams (mainly because I liked her in The Notebook) and Rose Byrne... However I think Natalie Portman would do a good job as Maerad, like when she was in Anywhere But Here or something, i forget what it was called exactly
