I was looking through my dvds and I came across Memoirs of a Geisha.
Anyway, I thought Ziyi Zhang, the girl who acts Sayuri, was really like what I imagine Maerad to be like.

Yes, I know she's Japanese and we're probably not looking for a Japanese actress, but she is really beautiful and has really delicate features. Plus, when she puts in blue contacts it's really striking.

mmm.. i like the second pic..does sort remind me of maerad, but a bit too old, and in context of the book yeah, not japanese actress

Zhang is very pretty, stunning infact! but not maerad. i dont think maerad has oriental features.
