Thora Birch is like, exactly how I imagine Maerad. Maybe I imagine her older than you guys do because I'm older? Anyhoo, she is super hot - so perfect ya! :p

See, I imagined Maerad with features more like those of danyl's... yet... Thora Birch seems very good for the part...Idunno :p I'm not good with this type of thing :o

:D
I'm starting to think Thora Birch, or for that fact, anyone would be better than me.
Not that I wouldnt be good of course lol

aw, c'mon! :D I actually think that it's more important for whatever actress that could potentially represent Maerad to capture and portray the essence of Maerad, her personality, what makes her tick. To me,what she looks like would be dropped quite a few rungs on the list of priorities if the actress acted exactly like her.

I think Alexis Bledel and Thora Birch look very much like what I imagined her to be. :D Except, Alexis with darker hair, and Thora looks a bit more... um... heavily endowed than what I thought Maerad might look like... lol

Wait... oh crap. Just remembered Alexis Bledel's acting abilities.. nevermind, she'd skewer it.

But you cannot deny looks aren't part of everything. Imagine if someone could portray Maerad perfectly but they made her blonde. That wouldnt bother you?

I'm still rooting for danyl- Thora Birch is (no offense intended) shocking. :D
I agree danyl- they must have SOME representation of Maerad- but then again how about a green haired maerad?! :D
