I like him... he is kind of the misunderstood character in all this, without him then Maerad would never have found out what the runes mean and about her third name, and that she can change into a wolf.

arkan sounds to me the person who makes maerad open up and listen to her feelings about love. without arkan maerad would not know anything about love if she and cadvan are to be with each other. she would probably still have a fear for men. but now maybe that fear has eased up a bit, which is very important so i think that i do like him for that. i for sure would not want him out of the book.

out of the books????? :eek: never! although he is somehow a "bad guy" *cough*not true *cough* he is needed in the books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he adds to the adventure, action, ect....

thats what i said that i didnt want him gone!i couldnt imagine hes a big part. i think hes cool! unlike some ppl :p
