Yar, I do like Cadvan a bit more than Arkan, (I think Alison made it that way on purpose :p) and yes, Xangiex, I COULD hear his voice! :D isn't that what makes a book great?

I have to say, Arkan creeped me out! From the minute Maerad arrived in his palace I wanted her to get out, it was this feeling I got and I didnt like him! When she didn't want to leave i was shouting at the book!

i dont like him but i like the way he makes you think about truth and stuff. He will never get with mearad because i think he does'nt love he is just lonely. And anyways im a big fan of maerad and cadvan getting toghter :D. i also think he just tought her to love and trust other men because if that was anyone else she probely would have freaked out.

:) and I think he didn't do that completely intentionally... through him and the people around him Maerad has discovered that perhaps they are not as scary as they seem...

do you think arkan loved her?

i think that he might have loved her but it was probably more that he was lonely. but they do say opposites attract and i dont know why im saying this because i want maerad and cadvan together not maerad and arkan so i'll shut up!:D
